XpressRNA Viral RNA extraction kit is designed for rapid and reliable isolation of viral RNA (and DNA) from oral and nasopharyngeal swabs soaked in virus transport media or other buffers. Our patented magnetic nanoparticle technology enables efficient viral nucleic acid isolation. The extracted RNA (and DNA) is free from contaminations and other impurities such as nucleases and proteins. It is suitable for direct use in most downstream applications such as onestep RT-qPCR, RT-PCR, PCR and sequencing. The kit can be adaptable to majority of the liquid handling workstations in the market.

Storage conditions

Carrier RNA is to be stored at -20°C upon arrival. MagNa Mix is to be stored at room temperature. For long term usage, it has to be stored at 4°C. All other components have to be stored at room temperature (15-25°C)
